Posts: 238 | I've noticed a lot of pictures lately being bogged down by people being rediculous and unfair on the voting system and voting 1/10, and you're right to be angry about it Vonfrank.
I mean, it's definately worth a 7 to 9/10, purely on the basis that if my assumption is correct (apologies if it's not), the screenshot shows Miri's Hot Explosions and Moonraker's Borg cube.......
So I'm voting how it should be and giving it an 8/10. |

I wouldn't be worried about the voting system guys, there are so many PotDs in the queue that even getting your PotD up should be enough to satisfy |

Posts: 192 | This picture is good but not great. It's nice to see the Akira and Borg ships but the closeness of the explosion is not that great. Plus the debris is a bit too chunky, an issue that has plagued this game. But I still give it a 6/10 for the effort of getting the pic. |

Posts: 311 | I dont really like the explosion much but explosions are always hard to get the timing right to get a good shot.The Akira and Cube are nice just the explosion is just bad timing. With that being said, a shot taken any later would have shown off Legacy's chunking for the Cubes so you would have been at a loss there too. Still an 8 though |

-1 for realism, after all, i don't see anything accept an akira, and we all know an akira would get massacred against a cube.
-2 for my big beef, you're way to close, should have zoomed out a bit or somethin.

good picture with the explosion, it was nicely timed and its not your fault legacy is bad at explosions, i would give an 8 but ive given a 10 to even it out

Yes, it is Moonraker's Cube and it is Miri's hot explosions.
@# 11: I did loose several ships, including Akiras in this battle. It is in fact the FC battle this is from, and I tried to get a good angle of the battle for screenshots. This is the best screenshot I got of the explosion in this battle, though I have played this mission several times so i have thus sent in several POTDs from it.
About zooming in or out; At that time I had yet to learn the Free cam, so I couldn't zoom in or out.
