nero's time travel wasnt intentional, but if it was more accurate then in my eyes the enterprise would of stood less of a chance than it did in jj's universe, in my understanding of star trek time travel, when nero destroyed the uss kelvin the black box recorder could of helped starfleet increase their advancements in technology and give jj's enterprise the edge. does any1 else agree? and i'm sure in betting people will disagree with this, but hey its just an opinion,

the picture is a good idea though, i always like behind to the side shots of federation ships, kind of a third person view of the battle, 8/10

I don't want to get into how much I hate the J.J designs and the whole concept of the alternate timeline in general because I don't think they make a comment box big enough.

On topic though, I'm not sure the title is quite right either, but I'm not gonna mark down the score just because of that, so I'll give it a 7/10

The JJ prise had and advantage with the huge number of pulse wepons, the allowed it to take down the missles from the narada, the origionals beams would have had a hell of a time tracking and gunning them down.

a good pic, but the narada still needs work i think, its a hard ship to do. 8/10 for the pic

@ #1 I seriously doubt starfleet would be using black boxes or anything that crude. It would be like us trying to use caveman painting methods to try to figure things out today(it makes no sense)the shuttles' sensor scans and onboard data base should have had all the information starfleet would've needed to adapt to nero's torpedoes.

As a matter of fact let me go one step further and just say that maybe the jj enterprise already did adapt their weapons to nero's by turning their standard phasers into red pulse-like projectile phasers.

As for the pic, it's pretty decent not really getting the title but it's a good shot. 7/10

Nero was trying to take revenge on Spock Prime no? His intention was to blow up Vulcan in the Prime universe. Had his time travel put him in the Prime Universe (if he had a choice) he would have encountered the Spock and Enterprise from the Prime universe. If he had encountered the Enterprise in the year 2258 as in the movie he would have encountered the Prime universe's Pike (Jeff Hunter). Thats all I was trying to go for here. Use your imagination folks. Don't over think it.

I'm sorry Ashrak007, I appreciate you taking the time to explain this for me and people to understand and I don't mean to over think things(if that's what you think I'm doing here)but my understanding things of this nature somewhat differs slightly.

You see I don't believe that a timeline(and everything in it)remains the same after it's been tampered with(intentionaly or not)you say accurate but in the most common of sense for me it would be in-acurate if the constitution class were to remain unchanged after nero's arrival. I know it's kinda hard to fathom but I also strongly believe that the changes in that timeline is not confined(or limited)to the emediate point of intrusion but rather to most if not all of the time thread in question. So you see how even the kelvin class is not how it should've been had nero not traveled back....just a matter of deductive logic(temporal mechanics big grin ).
