It would be the only one that would really work because all of the actors have only aged 5 years since the series ended.
Lots of scripts for season 5 were already written and a lot more stories (like the Earth-Romulan war) could have been explored further. |

That could be interesting, watching how humans adapt to long periods in space, whilst transporting a valuable cargo, that could could potentially be stolen by any number of hostile species. |

Posts: 268 | I have my ground pounder bias, what if they got away from the Starship exploration aspect and did something along the lines of SF Marines, or their equivalent of Special Forces. It wouldn't have to be a war series, it could also deal with the 'humanitarian' side of interacting with other cultures... |

Oh, just the events leading up to the monument in history: The Battle of Procyon V, this is the Daniel's Timeline, not the Prime Timeline.
And it is totally uncool that we are unable to see the Enterprise-J entire ship only the underside which is likely not possible as shown in the Starship Calendar, the underneath is flat, not observation port but at the episode, it is not flat! |

Posts: 5 | the next series if one gets made should continue the original timeline and not the alternate one from the new film. also quantum slipstream is fitted on all federation vessels
season 1 should deal with the collapse of the klingon empire and the intergration of the klingons into the federation along with the cardassions and the ferengi with the final episode being a massive attack on the federation by the borg.
season 2 should be the buildup of a massive galaxy wide war between the federation and the borg.
season 3 should be the start of the war, the federation and romulans vs the borg collective the final episode showing the assimilation of cardassia prime
season 4 the first episode shows the federation making the cardassian sun go supernova to eliminate the borgs foothold in the alpha quadrant, throughout the rest of the season the borg rapidly start assimilating more planets in the alpha quadrant including(tzenkethi prime, the gorn homeworld and several romulan colony worlds).
season 5 the federations war with the borg heats up with both sides taking loses, captain nog designs an interlink disrupter using his ships navigational deflector which temporerily disrupts the hive mind of the borg allowing the 12th fleet to demolish a borg armada of 20 cubes and sphears.
season 6 with every ships delflector in the fleet reconfigured to emit the disruptor signal the federation start to get the upper hand soon the borg are reduced to a small armada of cubes and sphears, planets assimilated by the borg are targeted with the disruptor so ground troops can pick of drones without the drones assimilating any of the troops, season finale shows the destruction of the last of the borg ships in the alpha quadrant and the federation and it's allies enter the delta quadrant to end the borg threat once and for all.
season 7 (final season) the federation armada starts to systematically destroy borg ship after borg ship along the way species previously attacked by the borg join the fight including the videans, the krenim and the hirogen who after retrieving a peice of lost hirogen tech discovered that the borg destroyed thier homeworld, as the season progresses the now ten thousend ship armada discovers the borgs central world and eliminates all the borg defences surronding the planet and begins planetery bombardment but to no avail as the planet is surrounded by a massive energy sheild, realising that non of their weapons will penertarte the sheild one ship out of the thousends is chosen to make the ultimate sacrifice to set off a supernova to destroy the borg homeworld, as the supernova begins the rest of the armada evacuates the sector.
after the supernova the fleet returns to the borg homeworld to asses the destruction with the borg, with thier destruction confirmed to armada returns home to contemplate thier loses in this devastating war |
