What do you think of Star Trek XI's version of Warp Drive, do you prefer the Band of XI or the old School Stretch of TNG?

Sorry, that was a typo, was supposed to be the Bang of XI,

Personally Id love a combination between the two, the nice bang effect but with the stratch of something like TNG or Voyager, not to forget the warp flash, cant believe they didnt put that in XI.

Oh well, theres always XII.

Lol I was confuxed there for a moment... Bang is better than stretch and that is what she said

I heard some people theorized that what they were using in Star Trek XI was a form of slipspace drive, which would explain why the Enterprise got to Vulcan so fast.

But as to the question, the same as what Amagosa said: a combination of the two, and putting the lightspeed flash back in.

I have to say, the warp flash was always a symbol of star trek in my mind, so i'd like to see them put that back in, but other than that, I loved the XI warp drive fx.

I prefer the old TNG Warp effect

I like both effects but a mixture of both.

The warp flash yes, once the ship engages warp, it will flash and enters the subspace field. But while entering, the stream will appear for two seconds and disappears and resume like normal warp flight. The ending warp is the XI, except the flash is much brighter in the inside not the outside!

ah nothings better than the TMP warp effect xD

I dont like the stretch effect!

I agree with "FahreS" the STMP warp effect is better.

What you think!

Edited: Rule #5 please use proper adjectives to express yourself

I like the ENT effect most, in Enterprise the ship stretches and then "enters" the flash big grin

The "bang" was...just pointless. It wasn't warp--it was hyperspace!

I miss the TNG stretching, I miss the TMP spectrum-warp. I miss the flash.

Bring it back!

TMP warp effect now and forever

I agree with some of the statements, a lot of effects were more like Star Wars, and not Star Trek, personally I miss the old Star Trek effects including the warp streching and warp flash.

I'd like to see a Hybrid of ST XI and TNG warp effects.
