This is a general announcement.

Due to the happenings of the past few months, there is a new policy on commenting on Legacy Files.

A few months back it was decided to relax the rules of advertising mods and external linking on PotDs and other files... Those rules have reverted to their original status with a more stringent policy to back it up.

The Following rules are now in force, effective, immediately.

1: No Advertising for mods in comment section. Comments that do not adhere to this will be deleted, not edited just deleted. Advertising for your mod on someone else's mod or PotD is annoying, disrespectful and is considered by all of us as spamming. Simple as that.

2: No attacks. Heavy Bans will be issued, regardless of who you are or what your position is or "what position you think you have" in the community, you are not exempt from being banned.

3: All comments that are extremely negative and show no constructive criticism are will simply be deleted. No questions asked. Comments that have the following "1/10" or anything remotely like the such without reasonable explanation will be deleted. Personal Opinion is one thing but constantly using the same "1/10" negative commenting is spamming. If you continue to do this then your commenting rights will be revoked.

4. Sarcasm is considered ignorant and is an attack on the person you are directing it to.
Anyone who attempts to break rules or attempts to walk along the borderline of breaking these rules will have their commenting priviledges revoked..simple as that..

To be direct, We are all sick of it. Staff, Members and Modders...It's time to shape up or ship out!

I am prepared to block all commenting on everything from today forward if things continue the way they are going, if you continue to break rules then not only will you be banned, but any PotDs you may have in a queue will be deleted along with any mods you have created or co-created on the site. It mightn't seem worrying to you but if you are a constant rule breaker, then you should be worried.

This is not a full crackdown or us censoring what is said on the site, it is us trying to bring back the good that was in this site that is slowly being drained away by constant bickering and negativity from people who in doing so, show that they do not care about anyone but themselves.... and just to show you that we are serious - today's, tomorrow's and Friday's PotDs will have comments blocked.

Things have changed now, and they will be changing for the better...it's a new ball game and if you don't like it.....well the internet is a big place, I'm sure you will find somewhere else that will put up with your bad behaviour.
