  Competiton Extention - Competition

Hey everyone. Just an update on the competitions.

IKS has given the go ahead for a contest extension on all current competitions till the 31st of August..

So the list of contests that have been extended are as follows.


  • Retexture Contest
  • Mission Contest
  • Map Contest
  • GUI Contest
  • Splash Screen Contest


This gives you all some time to finish anything you have started. Or would like to submit.

This also means that the next series of competitions which include the Modelling, Scripting and Weapons contests, will now go ahead from the 31st of August and finish around Christmas time.

Posts: 52 		What's the upcoming "scripting" contest? I was thinking the "missions" contest would have included scripted missions as well. Not that I have time for it but I was toying with an idea for a scripted map rather than a real "mission", sort of a play area. I don't like working with the map editor much and know anything in the "map" contest wouldn't have a chance, and it wasn't so much a traditional "mission".
