  2008 Contests launched - Competition

Hello all

They may be a couple of weeks late, but the contests are finally here, well some of them. The Competition/Contest Section has returned and is located beneath the Tutorial Section on the left menu.

The following contests for 2008 are now active on Legacy Files.


The Modelling, Scripting and Weapons contests are still in progress and won't be launched until late May. This is to allow people to concentrate on the first four sets of contests and hopefully enter them.

The Contests are a mixture of one general contest which has no requirements and a set of specific contests which have descriptions to be followed. The rules for the specific contests are not strict but like always if you are to use other's work then the permission/credit protocols are to be adhered to.

At this moment, all currently active contests are from this day until June 6th however if people genuinely require an extension then it can be discussed and hopefully granted. So check out the section and see for yourself if you are interested, and give them a try out. Even if you do not win, your entry will be made available for download on the site. smile

Posts: 3497 		I've decided to change who decides the winner. The Staff are allowed to enter, the winners will be chosen by the community via polls therefore the Staff have no say in who wins (I really want to enter a few of these myself and if I did then it would be unfair to judge the entries) stick out tongue
