Starship Contests


General Contest

Name: Generic Starship Contest
Duration: August 1st - December 18th

Description: Model any ship you like. It can be anything. There are no requirements or prerequisites for this contest. All you need to do is to create a starship of your liking. It must be your own work and may not be ported from another game.

Kitbash Contest

Name: Kitbashed Starship Contest
Duration: August 1st - December 18th

Description: Create a Starship of any era and any race, but you must use one or more existing designs as base to qualify it as kitbash. You should also take into consideration that a eight-nacelled monster is not always the best solution. wink

Rules of the Starship Contests

  • It cannot be a kitbash (Kitbash Contest excluded)
  • It cannot be a port. It most definitely has to be a new Model. Even if it is your own model from a different game then it still doesn't qualify (Kitbash Contest excluded)
  • You have to provide credits for non-model materials used (example: textures) that were created by others.
  • You may enter previously released models (released for Legacy!), on the grounds that they were not someone else's and you did in fact build them
  • You may enter with others as a team


All entries to be uploaded to the file system as normal. The voting will be done either via poll or on the forum after all competitions are closed. Good luck Two Thumbs Up!

You should post your requests in the Starship request thread.

I think I'll try to enter the kitbash contest.
Are we allowed to use existing kitbashed
Designs or can we use another design, but build the
Ship from kitbashed parts.

Posts: 137 		I am well-aware that it would be similar to the already released Ambassador Class and Early-TNG bridges, but I am at-a-loss as to why a recreation of the Galaxy Class' Battle Bridge has not been attempted as of yet?
