Well well, this is certainly deserving of it's PotM title and thank god it's not another Galaxy stick out tongue PotM. Jsut look at the angles of the ships in this PotD, the Excelsior is captured brilliantly, as are the Klingon B'rels to the bottom-right of the Excelsior. But what makes this such a cool picture is the damage effects. The chunks of hull and the Nacelle's departure from it's Holder is quite sublime. Rock

Ah the first 8472 screenshot and is a tribute to the brilliant Scorpion episodes. This shows the 8472 attacking a fleeing Voyager. The map environment really gives this shot a nice delta quadrant feel to it, the greenish background and green ambient lighting of Borg space. Great to see Species 8472 in a PotD, this was a very very close second. big grin

Is a tribute to the DS9 episode Sacrifice of Angels which featured the incredible Battle of Bajor. This has some excellent angles and really good lighting. The wide-angle view of the Fleet about to head into battle is the best part of this PotD not to mention a really good background. Cool pic wink
