In First Place

The Overseer




Posted on the 24th of October this shot received a total of 8.7 from 39 votes and got a small but sizeable 642 views. Uploaded by michaelappleby2002 it is a great picture of DS9/Terok Nor in all it's beauty and glory. Although this too was a teaser picture it still would do well if uploaded to the PotD queue nowadays. Lovely Shot!




In Second Place

Fire the primary disruptor




Posted on the 6th of October, this is another Romulan propaganda-inspired picture. The picture recieved a well deserved 8.7 from 26 votes and a good number of views, 669. Pipped to the post by 13 votes and uploaded by Joelteon7 (a former site admin) this was a fantastic angled shot of the Warbird firing it's disrupters.. One of the best teaser pictures and one of the best Romulan-based pictures I've seen from any Star Trek game.. Nice! cool




In Third Place

This is the Tal Shiar. Stand Down!




Shown on the eve of halloween, the 30th, this was a very very close third with 8.7 from 22 votes and recieved 434 views! stick out tongue. From AdmiralHocking this a very cool Romulan wallpaper.Yes, there was a bit of a Romulan invasion of the site during the first few months. All in all, a cool picture. Two Thumbs Up!

And so that was the Picture of the Month for October 2006 for Legacy Files, our second month which included the infamous Armada2 picture (we were desparate at the time, it was like a rallying call for people to upload PotDs.)
