In First Place

All hands abandon ship! I repeat, ALL HANDS ABANDON SHI




Posted on the 4th day of February, this PoTD received a rather relatively low rating (in terms of PotM standards) with 8.6 from 56 votes with a nice total of 1084 views. Created by Nequam , this depicts an Akira getting absolutely walloped in close quarter combat. The explosion is quite epic and is superbly captured (reminds me of a scene from the battle of Chin'toka in DS9's "Tears of the Prophets"). Although the only faux pas with the picture is the duplicate nacelle chunk which appears in explosions. Still a wonderful shot! Rock

views. A captainwalker creation, this great action shot of a Defiant leaving a Romulan wreck in it's wake. Another great action shot. A well deserved inclusion in the February PotM top three. wink

views. Made by havok20x this is a cool PotD which is a very dark, contrasting and moody screen capture of a battle around a sun. I just love the effects capture in this PotD as the contrast between the light of the sun and the darkness of space is shown in great detail... Really cool battle pic big grin
