In First Place

A very nice picture and certainly much different that last month's PotM. It is also our first picture of the month that focuses on the Borg solely. The large borg presence in the picture and the title suggest a Borg invasion fleet is about to strike upon some unlucky souls, The quality is very good especially the background which add a mysterious atmosphere to the scene. The planet also gives it added quality while the range of Borg ships on offer suits the scene. The only bad point is the stock purple glows but that doesn't detract too much from a very good picture.cool

This was a very close second and is also a top quality picture. When this first went up, it could have been mistaken for a screenshot from the Voyager itself. The quality of the picture is superb and the cubes in the background almost have an overshadowing effect on the picture giving the aura of darkness and invincibility. Plus the nebula/background is almost an exact copy of that from the episode..This great picture, like the picture at number 1 spot for this month, does not deserve a rating of 8.2, it deserves higher. smile

A cool picture again, this time it's a very nice beauty shot of a very classy ship, the Mnemosyne Class.
The picture has been touched up with some photoshop effects which is why some may have voted it negatively although the ps really suits this ship as it gives the picture a real-life effect. Overall the picture and ship look great and could definately look like a scene from DS9 as it patrols the badlands searching for the maquis!


So that is the last Picture of the Month for 2007, we've had some fantastic shots this year with special mention to last month's PotD among others as the best of the PotDs this year. Although the negative voting continues on the site, especially on the PotDs, there is no let down in the quality of PotDs coming through and now with the concept PotDs (of all shapes and sizes) we should have an interesting year of Legacy PotDs in 2008.

So check this spot out this time next month for the showing of the first PotM of 2008.
