Vesta class 2.0 has arrived!

In 2380, Starfleet launched its first slipstream capable multi-mission tactical explorer. When thrown into the massive borg invasion of the Alpha Quadrant, these vessels were born and prooven. The most famous vessel, U.S.S. Aventine, commanded by Ezri Dax would mark the Vesta class as the first of a new generation of top secret technologies and renewed enthusiasm as the Federation pushes out into the final frontier once again.

Take the helm of one of eleven Vesta class starships, each armed with a new plasma torpedo, pulse phasers and capable of retina detaching slipstream velocities.

Special thanks to the design's author, Mark Rademaker, for creating an amazing new vessel and for helping to make this project possible. Thanks also to MarkyNCC for beta testing and support, and to Bankrupt Studios for collaborative effort making a more accurate Vesta class.

This ship is a stunning beast and a must have. Im a fan of the textures, with the green sections being the best parts. However, the speculars bug me a little as they cover the ship squarely rather than folowing the roundness. The weapons are also incredibly powerful, and any other similar sized ship wont stand a chance, but I wouldnt go as far to say its a God-ship. The physics are the worst feature about the ship, making it light and maneuverable, without any feeling of sluggish weight, that you'd find with a Sovvy or Galaxy.

All in all, the ship is a great addition, and fits perfectly into the game.

	Readme File: Requirements: Any. Installation: Run the installer package, choose your legacy version for install. Credits, Legal and Distribution: This ship is an original production, except for the torpedo, which is courtesy of Anun C8 and the MR Sprite mod. I am not responsible for any problems this mod may cause your installation (which should be none anyway), nor am I responsible for the collateral damage caused to other ships that encounter the Vesta class. This is not released for profit and has nothing to do with Maddoc and Bethesda. I hereby grant permission for this ship to be included in future mods. Feel free to tweak it to your liking. The deflector is nothing short of amazing.

If the Executable isn't running, and it's not an incomplete download, most likely you have XP and don't have Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 installed. I'm not sure if the link will work in a comment but here it is. You can get it from download.microsoft.com and search for ".Net Framework 2.0" if the link fails to work.

Sorry for the long awaited response.
I have Win 7 64bit home premium and a .NET framework 4.
After the download my computer can't recognize the type of file.
Does this help?

It is an exe file. I have been seeing alot of similar responses by people here lately. The best I can say is it is not downloading properly. When the file downloads what is it called? You should be getting "vesta2.0.exe". You must click the "Download Vesta class!" link above, then the "Download Now" button on the next page, after that it should start downloading the vesta2.0.exe automatically after a few seconds.

My computer does recognize executable (.exe) files just not this one because i've download many exe files from here and they ran just fine. But idk if it's just my computer. frown

Is there any way the file can be converted to rar? or any other file type?

I don't know what the person describing this ship is talking about. From what I have read, the Vesta class is supposed to be highly manueverable. However, if I'm wrong, and it wouldn't be the first time, then please tell me where I can find some accurate information on this fine beauty of a ship.

if theres ever a ship that meats the standerds of the enterprise f this is it, great mod, could there possible be a skin mod for the name "enterprise f" to be on the hull?
