Description:
NG brings a 1.1 patch for Trek Battles 3 which is important for fixing bugs in the last release, and for future releases to work.

This is the first patch for TB3 fixing several bugs:
- Missions not working
- Wrong explosion color
- Excelsior refit appearing twice
- TNG era Terrans crashing
- minor weapon color changes
- minor UI color changes

1. Description:

TBIII is the culmination of 2 years work, countless improvements have been made to ships, maps, shaders, AI, explosions, weapons, missions, in fact the overall quality of everything that made Trek Battles II what it was, has been vastly improved.
The menu system has been greatly simplified from the previous versions, you will now find what you are looking for much faster and with greater ease than was the case previously. There are extra game modes included in TBIII, such as 'quick battle', 'custom missions', 'capture the starbase' and a few surprises besides!
We now have a fully scripted 'Campaign', which works in the same manner as the original Legacy Campaign, in that you have to play through the missions in a progressive manner, just as you did in stock Legacy. (The original Campaign Missions are still playable via the 'Original Missions' menu).

"A discovery made by a Federation Starship in '2365' will shape events for the 'Federation', its 'Allies' and its 'Enemies' for years to come, in ways that Knowone could have expected or anticipated, hold on to your hats, this is going to be a bumpy ride!"

As promised, maps made by the 'TBIII' map contest winners are included, in this release.

3. Compatability:

Trek Battles III is not compatible with other total conversions, like STL: The Aftermath, the Legendary Generations Mod or Ultimate Universe! If you need help with putting ships or new maps or whatever you want in Trek Battles feel free to post on our forum and someone will help you.

If you discover a bug please post in the bug-section on our forum, the bug will be fixed in the next patch!

7. System Requirements:

Operation System : Windows XP Home, Professional or Media Center Edition; Windows Vista, Windows 7 (no multiplayer)
Processor : Intel Pentium 4 (3.0 Ghz) or higher; AMD Athlon XP 3500+ or higher
DirectX : DirectX 9.0c
RAM : 2048MB
Harddrive space : 6(+4)GB (4GB for the stock game and 6GB for the mod)
Graphicscard : DirectX 9.0 compatible, with pixelshader 2.0 and 256MB RAM; a Nvidia 8600GT or equivalent ATi card is recommended.

8. Credits:

This pack includes several models sourced from the Bridge Commander, Armada (2) and SFC communities, credits for all ships, mods and changes, can be found in the main credits file!

9. Mods for the Mod:

The mod is also intended to be a base to work from. Feel free to release maps or missions for Trek Battles III, but if you want to make changes to the mod you HAVE TO ASK FOR PERMISSION!
