Description:
Ladies and Gentlemen may I present NG's latest creation Trek Battles 3!

What more could the Legacy community ask for this Christmas? This is New Gens biggest ever release showcasing some of the finest workmanship from some of Legacy's finest workmen!

The Gigabyte size mod contains enormous vessels including the Excalibur Class and Kelvin Class, and miniature shuttles like the Delta Flier. There's also an abundance of additional ships for all the races. The Cardassians are able to enjoy new ships across ther Era's. The Dominion now enjoy space beyond the war. The sheer amount of content in the form of ships is enough to keep one entertained for days.

In addition of ships, there are maps. The space that NG|mods has constructed is vast and beautiful. The wide array of maps expands from clear space, to asteroid filled expanses. Each map, and each mission has its own realistic setting and characteristics allowing exploration and tense battling.

The content comes down to opinion. People will appreciate all the ships, or the concept of recreating missions in a shuttle. Some may not like some of them, or how they appear. Though I'll leave the opinion making down to all of you!

1. Description:

TBIII is the culmination of 2 years work, countless improvements have been made to ships, maps, shaders, AI, explosions, weapons, missions, in fact the overall quality of everything that made Trek Battles II what it was, has been vastly improved.
The menu system has been greatly simplified from the previous versions, you will now find what you are looking for much faster and with greater ease than was the case previously. There are extra game modes included in TBIII, such as 'quick battle', 'custom missions', 'capture the starbase' and a few surprises besides!
We now have a fully scripted 'Campaign', which works in the same manner as the original Legacy Campaign, in that you have to play through the missions in a progressive manner, just as you did in stock Legacy. (The original Campaign Missions are still playable via the 'Original Missions' menu).

"A discovery made by a Federation Starship in '2365' will shape events for the 'Federation', its 'Allies' and its 'Enemies' for years to come, in ways that Knowone could have expected or anticipated, hold on to your hats, this is going to be a bumpy ride!"

As promised, maps made by the 'TBIII' map contest winners are included, in this release.

Trek Battles III is not compatible with other total conversions, like STL: The Aftermath, the Legendary Generations Mod or Ultimate Universe! If you need help with putting ships or new maps or whatever you want in Trek Battles feel free to post on our forum and someone will help you.

Harddrive space : 6(+4)GB (4GB for the stock game and 6GB for the mod)
Graphicscard : DirectX 9.0 compatible, with pixelshader 2.0 and 256MB RAM; a Nvidia 8600GT or equivalent ATi card is recommended.

This pack includes several models sourced from the Bridge Commander, Armada (2) and SFC communities, credits for all ships, mods and changes, can be found in the main credits file!

9. Mods for the Mod:

The mod is also intended to be a base to work from. Feel free to release maps or missions for Trek Battles III, but if you want to make changes to the mod you HAVE TO ASK FOR PERMISSION!
