TOS Kelvin Type - File Description

STLegacy has ported a new model for Legacy. The TOS Kelvin is a basic design, like its JJ counterpart, but instead contains the parts that you would expect to find on other similar TOS vessels.

The ships is quite well balanced, proving to be a worthy ship in a fleet, and not another cheap scout vessel like the Saladin. The model is well made, though you will find that the textures are somewhat bland. The fact it has been ported also means it wont fit in 100% with the Legacy stock TOS files, perhaps defeating the objective.

Nevertheless, the ship is a nice addition to have. The Kelvin has a unique and interesting design, and is certainly a fun play.

Developer Input -
The Kelvin Type, a ship that you probably know from the movie set in the Alternate Reality. Imagine it's prime universe counterpart, that's this ship!

The Alternate Reality version was destroyed by the Narada in 2233, but the prime universe counterpart became known as a great ship of exploration, under the command of captain Robau, and first officer Kirk.

Readme File:

- Automatic:
Place the included .zip file in the folder called Star Trek Legacy,
you can find it here: C:Program FilesBethesda SoftworksStar Trek Legacy,
extract it there, go then to the general part.

- Manual:
Put all .ODF files in the ODFShips folder in C:Program FilesBethesda SoftworksStar Trek LegacyODFShips.
Put all .M3D files the M3D folder in C:Program FilesBethesda SoftworksStar Trek LegacyM3D.
Put all the files in the TexturesDDS folder in C:Program FilesBethesda SoftworksStar Trek LegacyTexturesDDS.

- General Part:
NOTE: If you have done this before, you don't have to do it anymore.
Delete the DB.pak file.
Open notepad, and enter:
g_bGeneratePackFile = 1

Click on 'save as', don't save it as a .txt file, so click on 'save as' in the save window.
Save the notepad file as "myconfig.cfg"

The smoothing and the Material settings could use some work, but other than that, nice work! Two Thumbs Up!

It should do. It uses only stock weapons, so I assume it will.

Oh yes, Yopyop: I've tried smoothing it, but, then a part of it's warp nacelle disappears. Also, on another ship, all those connecting lines reposition themselves in a weird way.
