TNG Akula Refit - File Description  


Description:
This original ship appeared in the "MK II Nebula and TNG Akula" pack a few months pack. The main differences between the original version of this and the stock was an extra deflector type component on the hull. This update also has blue "deflectors" retextured on it's ventral side of the saucer. The ship's stats are also modified and it will not overwrite the original stock game.

TNG Akula 2.0

Description: This is an updated version of the TNG Akula
that I previously released. The textures have
been changed again and two small defelctors
added to the underside of the saucer. Not the
strongest ship in the fleet but better than the
average scout or destroyer.

Installation:
Copy each file from its folder and place it in the
same folder in legacy. This ship will only overwrite
the TNG Akula I realeased earlier. It should not over
write any other files. Remember to remove the db.pak
prior to playing.


Credits:
All dds, odf, and m3d files were edited by me. Please
ask permission prior to installing into a mod that you
intend to make public.

Posts: 288 		Would've looked good without the tacky blue deflectors on the ventral side of the saucer. Miranda Class was in wide use during the TNG-era and it never had a visible deflector dish.

9/10 - love the design, and it looks good for TNG era

-1 for the deflector dishes, they look too "ameteur-ish" to me, no offense.

Posts: 192 		#3 I understand your thoughts on the deflector. I wanted to add something that would make it stand out among the Miranda class. #1 The one your thinking of is the Akyazi. This one was renamed Akula instead of Apollo by the UU team.
