Description:

Here we have the Sabre Class, originally done by Queball but ported to Legacy by The New Gen Mod Team. As many of you should know, this was one of the many ships that was featured in the the battle with the Borg during the opening of Star Trek First Contact. It was also feature in many of the DS9 episodes.

This version looks and feels great. The ship contains many of the extras, including alpha channels, specs, bumps and glows. The ship itself is definitely worthy of a download, especially for those of you who want to re-enact the Borg battle with a decent looking Sabre Class.

All installation instructions are included and easy enough to understand. Any problems you have should be reported on our forums so we can guarantee you a quick response to your query. Have fun.

Good work on the sabre class, she is one of my fav Bridge Commander ship, i followed Queball's work on her from day one, i was wondering if you would be up to converting the USS Courageous to Legacy, i know that Queball did the model, but i designed her so i can give permission on a convertion.

the torp hard points are back ward and theres a "hp011" instead of "hp11" in the pulse section. and pulse canons? i don't think thats normal. looks good but it need a damage mesh.

I have only one complaint about this mod, and that is to the reviewer of the file.

I'd like to point out that these are NOT extras. Bumpmaps, speculars, alpha channels... they are all requirements for a ship to be considered complete for Legacy. If the game supports said features, the ships that get ported to the game should contain exactly the same files as any of the stock ships.

That being said, I give this mod a 10/10 because it's the best Sabre Class available, and because it looks awesome. Not like some of the half-completed stuff i've seen posted.

They are in actual fact extras, they are not required for the file to run and are therefor extras. However this is not the place to debate that, please visit our forums if you wish to discuss it further.

wow funny that UU has it and now u guys..the UU version looks loads better anyways..and our version has a demage mesh PROPER )glow maps that just like up the nacelles like they should and with changing registries

#10, anyone can port a vessel if they want once they get the permission from the original modder.. hence if someone ports Queball's Sabre and then another person ports it again two months later it valid, so quit dogging people...You have been warned
