Description:

This is the ODF Library from gdata of New Gen.

This is a small .NET library that allows to edit odf's easily. Simply include this in your project and use it for whatever you want. It can be used to manipulate a huge amount of files in a very short time.

Two classes are included in this library. The first (OdfParser) can parse odf code line by line, while the second is able to analyze and modify whole documents. That's why it's called OdfDocument. It is more handy than the parser, but does not deliver the same performance as the parser does. Using the parser might be quite difficult if you are not that experienced with .NET, so it is recommended to start using the document.
So all you need is a little bit knowlegde of any .NET language, be it C++/CLI, C#, VB.NET, IronPython or whatever. Also included a short example solution (written in C#) showing what this library is capable of.

What's wrong with just using Notepad/Wordpad? I do, I don't have any problem.

Well, if you want to create duplicates of any non-Federation ship, changing their race and startyears and don't mind changing hundreds of odfs manually, then you can use Notepad....
So it's easily possible to edit a large amount of files within seconds. Using notepad would take hours and in the end there would be a dozens of bugs in there, because you loose concentration soon, when always doing the same job.
All you need to do is using the classes in there to manipulate the files in there as you want it. For example you can also let it make decisions, etc.
