Have no fear,the windowed mode is here!
Well a batch file intended to give you the user the option to view Legacy with the window fully shown as opposed to the Full screen effect. Batch Files can be a bit clumsy somethings but this seems to work and is a nice effect to have. You more than likely will need to run it with the 1024x768, 1280x768 or 1280*1024 resolutions. The only prickily point is the fact tbat the window can't lock itself to a specific area but hoepsfully that can be fixed. This is recommended if you are testing something,not for playing,you may wish to used a controller to play,not keyboard or mouse.

If you are unsure of anything that it might crashed or not,you may have to play it along and restart it,if it crashed but now,I have developed the windowed mode. So if you are unsure of something,you may want to used this, instead of crashing and restarting it. This is a simple addition into your Star Trek Legacy. But I haven't able to solve the lock window so that the window will lock in the specific area. This is recommended if you are testing something,not for playing,you may wish to used a controller to play,not keyboard or mouse. ====== Finally I got the solution,now if you made a mistake a the debug box pop up, now you can exit it instead of restarting or Alt-tab it. Windowed mode depends on the game resolution in the option menu. Best Resolution: 1024x768 1280x768 1280x1024 Just place it in your Legacy folder: v:Program FilesBethesda SoftworksStar Trek Legacy v - variable if you want the shortcut to be easier,right click just add -windowed but you might want to copy the original shortcut and done the following instructions. "v:Program FilesBethesda SoftworksStar Trek LegacyLegacy.exe" -windowed A freeware but ask me for using it in your total conversion or while creating a new mod.

I use windowed mode for testing all the time. Esp if you might get a crash because it's usually possible to end the task rather than reboot.

Ya watch the Mouse when it scrolls past the edge of the screen it goes off and starts clicking other stuff on your desktop. Also make sure you ingame resolution is Lower than you Desktop Resolution smile

Using the Controller instead of mouse/keyboard does prevent the control issues.
