Prepare for a new and breathtaking experience with new effects and enhanced graphics and functions, and experience Star Trek Legacy as it could have been.

This mod contains a lot of really cool features:

  • optional Shader Model 3.0 support + Enhanced shield and shadow effects
  • Save/load Game(only works properly in campaign mode)
  • All missions Feature
  • Planet Conquest mode
  • Free Camera mode
  • Developer Toolbar
  • Docking with neutral shipyards
  • E3 photon torpedoes
  • Infinite respawns
  • Early Pre-release Asteroids

  • Improved particle effects
  • Made Command Ring accessible on enemy ships (now possible to tractor enemy ships).

  • Defiant cloak sounds.
  • Wormhole & Black hole added to map editor.
  • Defiant class torpedo hardpoints (fires from sides)


The additions, changes and recovery-work Alexraptor did is really amazing. As the description already says this makes Legacy closer to what it should have been when it was released. This is another mod definitely worth a download, especially if you are limited on HDD space or bandwidth, but even if you are not you should try this out just to have some cool eye-candy for Legacy. cool

This is a major departure from my previous versions of my Keys of Legacy mod.
Unlike the previous versions, Keys of Legacy + does not just focus on unlocking hidden features,
but also on enhancing, re-creating and restoring pre-release Legacy content, making for an overall more
breathtaking game experience.

- Shader Model 3.0 support + Enhanced shield and shadow effects.(optional)
- Save/load Game(only works properly in campaign mode)

- Game Lock(lets you close your multiplayer games from others)

- Admiral's Log fixed so that all players show up instead of just the first 4.
- Warp icon for throttle controls.

- Lakota Class refit.
- Debris plasma/fire trails.
- Defiant class torpedo hardpoints(fires from sides)
- Hull breach explosions from weapons fire.

Installation:
Run the installer and follow instructions.(Note: if installing with the new shaders, go to the Legacy shaders folder and delete all files with the extension .fxo)

NOTE: To play against other players online you must have the same installation as they do.

Known Bugs:
Trying to join a Closed game will cause the main multiplayer screen to overlap the Join screen when kicked out, when this happens, leave the join screen.

Known issue with the Command ring not retracting on enemy ships when trying to switch between Keyboard/Mouse and Xbox 360 controller, fixed by simply highlighting any of the menu items.
