The Akira seems to be a popular ship, we've got already 8 different versions of it on the site and here's No.9. And no, this is not a Dominion War Refit, it's not a Rouge Refit and no, it's not an assimilated Akira: It's a Terran Akira. And tj_hawk also provides a nice background story to its development:

Apart from the characteristic red markings it has improved weapons, cloaking technology and as the background story already says ablative armor, making it stronger than the Federation Akira. The ship might be a tad unbalanced, but what do you expect it's the Terran Empire.
Taking into consideration that this is using the stock Akira textures, the quality of this retexture is pretty decent and it's also better than it looks on the provided screenshots.

Another ship with yellow paint slapped on it... How many more are you doing?? Maybe for your next one or a challenge for you is to come up with a Terran ship that has all the characteristics of a Terran minus the yellow paint.
I think Terrans are more than just yellow paint.

I agree, I think the yellow paint should be opaque and the hull should be more darker, contrasting and militant..You should make up your own parallel universe fleet with its own markings

yeah must agree. theres much more to terrans than a bit of paint or vinyl. they are ragged, rogue & militant. unfortunately none of the retextures reflect those traits.

I think everything is wrong. The Terran are conquered, rebels are out. Only the Terran fighter and Defiant was only built. But I think we are talking about another mirror universe, where there is a secret base building ships like Sovereign and galaxy. That's kind of cool.
Anyway just skip it.
You Akira class looks like the copy but I really recommend to have the prototype Akira class or the first Akira class ship(not ISS Akira), which doesn't have the terran logo or signature.
The texture plain, need some armor coating like grey,darker colours or slightly darker than the original colour. Overall, 10***/*****/10 - 10 + 3 star/10(max star is 5)
