Okay here is my 11 page but really simple tutorial on how to make a decent map background that will fit well in legacy. It's basic and it only involves a couple of steps from a black background to the final steps to make it a decent nebula background. I would like to see people use this and advance on it a bit more by using other filters and the burn/dodge tools to make their own unique ones. If you use this tutorial and you release some stuff, a little shout out to me would be nice - just a lil thank you would be cool.

Here's a nice little tutorial from old fearless leader IKS. And yet I've failed to bring him Moose and Squirrel. Lame joking aside lol, this will teach you future map makers how to make a map background from scratch. So if you want to learn, now is the time, we could use more maps without the lame backgrounds!!! *pants* DOWNLOAD TODAY!!!

Posts: 162 		This is excellent work, The stock backgrounds are limited with Legacy, hopefully we will see an influx of new ones.

To me as a mission creator, the enviroment makes the mission!

Posts: 3497 		Anyone else have anything to add, did anyone make some map backgrounds? Its tough to match them up ingame but I will release an updated tutorial on how to add them into Legacy and do some magic work on mismatching edges smile
