Description:

Petescan releases a different type of mod here. This time he has a pack of Texture Tweaks.

The title for this mod is misleading, since the texture edits are no higher in resolution. In fact, what I can gather is that these textures are sharper than the stock versions. This is good, since the details are enhanced, however, some ships came out of the edit worse, I feel.

Either way, aesthetics are judged by peoples opinion, so this may be a mod that you may very much enjoy.

I see what he did. All he did is fix the bumpmaps with Gimp... Nice though

This is the best you can do with stock textures...
Since I have stock I made this pack so the textures would look better...

My personal favorite is the Sov cuz the stock sov looked nothing like the films!

The Sov now looks more like it looked on STX (Nemesis)

Nice enhancements, but the specularity really doesn't highlight the hull properly. Anyway any ideas to decompile the M3D into like MS3D or something else? Cause' the Sovie isn't nemesis type.

Legacy's Galaxy, Sovereign, and Defiant where all HIDEOUS other than those i didn't have a problem with any of the stock ships
