Description:

The Cardassians now gain a substantial amount of fire power with the arrival of this battleship, the Galor class. Most prominently seen in DS9 and the Dominion Wars, this ship is the work-house of the Cardassian armada. Whilst not overly-powerful, the Galor's are frequently seen in hunting packs of 3. Easily re-creatable in Legacy, you’d be able to have 3 of these in your very own hunting pack! Don't expect these to truly hold up to the other races battleships (Galaxy, Sovereign, Vor'Cha, Negh'Var, Heavy Defender and D'Deridex) as they will likely make short work of these, however with the reduced command points, you can bulk up with more of these to balance it out.

The fantastic model and textures done by (Wrath of) Achilles originally for Armada II, they stand the test of time and really do look fantastic in Legacy. Obviously, these don't have the advanced texture options, should they be added, it would further enhance the already high-quality of this ship. So, if you like Cardassians and want to try and re-create scenes from the Dominion War...you have more to work with!

	Readme File: Okay this is the Cardassian galor class for Legacy. It's based on the Armada 2 model. It comes with fully functional weapons and an icon (it's a Keldon icon but will work for now) Important: You need to install the Dominion & Vulcan race addon first! (The Galor will show up on the Dominion fleet setup screen) How to install: 1. unzip all files then add "cbattle.odf" to your ...\Legacy\odf\ships folder add all 6 "cgalor" tga files to your ...\Legacy\textures\rgb folder add "cbattle.m3d" to you ...\Legacy\m3d folder add "hi_cbattle" to your ...\Legacy\textures\dds folder Known bugs: There are no damage textures. When your hull is heavily damaged you will see the space behind the ship. credits: 3d Model converted from Armada 2 game Textures by Wrath of Achilles odf file by me Christian Simon (ross42899)

@ 1- Now that you mention it, I'm not too sure. Perhaps that was if you wanted to have it part of that race. Otherwise, just edit the odf file a little bit to say the correct race and it should be added into the main 4 you have smile

Its an addon i made and released over at the Bethsoft forums about a month ago.

It adds the two stock vulcan ships to the game and works well with the Keldon Class and Dominion Battleship which have been previously released. You can simple install those from their stock downloads, use mine then this one.

Sweet thanks for posting the link to your Dominion etc. races add-on "cbosdell" now I have the both Galor and Keldon Cardy ships and the Dominion Warship working in game, time for some Dominion War re-enactments big grin

I tried to use the addon, but I couldn't select the race in Skirmish mode. It'd just switch me back to Federation frown

I downloaded the dominion vulcan addon and the galor class file. In skirmish when I choose the dominion it goes back to federation. I also have community mod 0.04. Whats the deal with this?

i`ve downloaded the ultimate universe demo and it`s put in the cardassians and the vulcans as playable races so will that work?
