Experimental Terran Defiant class (1.0b) - File Description

Description:

Included within this ship package are two variants of the same ship - the first resembles what was shown in the Enterprise episode "In a Mirror darkly" - it comes fully equipped with phasers (although not canon due to their colour stick out tongue

) pulse phasers and photon torpedoes. It's good to see that when you use this ship you're not listening to the voice of a female or another male captain, it's actually Captain Archer but without the attitude we saw in "In a Mirror Darkly" stick out tongue

- Texture wise, some enhancements have been made, including the Terran insigne.

I did mention that another ship was included within this download - the U.S.S. Defiant - the result of Starfleet's tinkering:

This is a fine addition to the Enterprise era line-up but I feel there could be room for improvement, perhaps given that tutorials have been released, this could be a prime contender for a retexture to give it an extra edge and a cut above other Enterprise downloads! I believe that this is the author's first addition to the site, this must be considered when looking at the download - Welcome to Legacy Files! smile

	Readme File: after mirror archer brought the USS Defiant back to Starfleet, its obvious that they would begin building new experimental ships in her image. the Defiant class (which would after refinment be named the constitution class) was born. the ISS defiant NX-03 is equiped with the new warp 7 drive, Phasers, and more. it is suggested that you have trek battles 2. (although not required) i have included in the zip four ships. F_terran_Defiant F_terran_Defiant_Refit these are if you do not have the trek battles 2 mod and are just useing the stock legacy files. T_Defiant T_Defiant_Refit these are the suggested files you use (only if you have trek battles 2 or have the species terran) T_Defiant this is the ship archer brought back from the ship yard, fresh from the alternate universe. basicly just a constitution with a retextured registry. T_Defiant_Refit this is the first ship created useing technology from the defiant, such as shielding, warp 8 drive, phasers, and more. with this ship i tweaked the power levels on all the systems, redid the phaser animations and regestry texture. installation: extract to your C:program filesbethesdasoftworksstartreklegacy

this is one of those "where in the world was this guy and why has he not done more" moments for me just touch up the registry and name and ill be cool with it. btw very nice what you did on the saucer kudos. ^^
