This is my take on the phasers seen in STXI. i think i got it as close as possible to what you see on screen, but you be the judge. along with accuracy, ease of installation is another issue. allot of people had trouble with the weapons and getting the ships to work in game. that being the case, this mod should be just about the easiest legacy mod to install. it is no more than 8 odf files, and they are already pathed correctly in the folder you unpacked. as long as you already have the 2 ships, kelvin and enterprise, installed these weapon files should work regardless of what total conversion mod you are running these ships in.

This is another mod adding the Star Trek XI weapons to your game. The installation is pretty easy and should be achievable for everyone. The only requirement for the mod are yopyop's Star Trek XI ships:

this is my take on the phasers seen in
STXI. i think i got it as close as possible
to what you see on screen, but you be the
judge. along with accuracy, ease of
installation is another issue. allot of people
had trouble with the weapons and getting the
ships to work in game. that being the case,
this mod should be just about the easiest
legacy mod to install. it is no more than
8 odf files, and they are already pathed
correctly in the folder you unpacked. as
long as you already have the 2 ships,
kelvin and enterprise, installed these weapon
files should work regardless of what total
conversion mod you are running these ships in.

I took a few liberties, such as class names.
The Kelvin is aptly named, which you will find
if you were to do a bit of research. i also added
torps to the kelvin. Seeing as legacy takes
place in the prime universe, integrating the
new connie with the old, to me, is an issue.
So I renamed it as if it were its own unique ship
class completely separate from the connie. I
also gave them reasonable sizes. Anyone
paying attention to the movie can see that
the “official” sizes are completely wrong.

As far as releasing work based on this, ask first. I’ll
Know right away is something is based off these files,
They’re level of complexity stands out, as it were.
