Dominion Terok Nor (v1.0) - File Description  


Description:
In a alternate reality where the Dominion Alliance have conquered 97.2%
of the Alpha Quadrant, the Klingon and Romulan Empires are all but
destroyed, what left of the Federation try to make their last stand
thoughout scattered sectors of space.

However, when battle plans to exterminate the Federation from the Alpha
Quadrant as well, the Founders ordered the Jem'Hadar to exterminate their
Cardassian allies. With the fall of Bajor, and DS9, the Dominion had full
control of the Alpha Quadrant and the Wormhole.

6 months after they took over, the Founders made Deep Space Nine their new
base of military operations, and Earth their new home. The new color scheme
makes this station look more steathly and more deadly to the eye. With it's
upgraded systems with Dominion weaponary and strong hull plating with an
multi-layering shield system, makes this a beast in the Alpha Quadrant.

After a year, more of these were bulit in the Gamma Quadrant in case of any
uprisings...

[PLEASE READ BEFORE INSTALLING]

[INSTALLATION]

1. Place M3D files in the folder M3D

2. Place ODF files in the folder ODF

3. Place DDS files in the folder Textures/DDS/


[UNINSTALLATION]

1. Remove M3D files in the folder M3D

2. Remove ODF files in the folder ODF

3. Remove DDS flies in the folder Textures/DDS/

[Background]

[Bugs/Problems]

This Mod has been tested and only compatable with:

Trek Battles II
UUMod
New Races Mod 3.3

[Reported Bugs]

In the UUMod, the torpedos will only fire if the attacking ships are very close
to the station.

However, if you should find a problem with this mod during gameplay, we strongly
urge you to contact us right away so we can find a solution right away.
But We are not responsible if you computer does the following:

---------------------------------------------------------------------
-Crashes (and you get that access violation thingy)
-Operates slower than normal
-Personal settings reset
-Act of God (which i seriously doubt will happen lol)
-Damaging of Software or Hardware.
-Is destroyed by friends, family, or 4-legged animals
-Gallaghar himself destroy's your computer with a giant mallet

I am responsible however, if there is a minor problem with the mod that myself will
fix it at the first chanace I get.

[Notes]
If your using the New Races Mod in the Stock Version, you must delete and/or
rename the db.pak. If your using Trek Battles 2, you don't have to delete or
rename said file.

the description leads me to think this is a mission... yet without any pictures, im meat to somehow assume this is a ship?

The ship is categorized as a new 'ship', but realistically, its just a retexture. As a moderator, you should really know that... I know that the odf probably converts the base, but thats been done many-a-time before..

Also, in the Description, there's a story.. Whilst the story is very interesting and all.. It doesn't tell me much about the mod... Perhaps thats one of your downfalls as a moderator, because your uploading the mod yourself, you dont review yourself or actually explain what it is you are releasing..

The texture its self is very appealing. Nice looking. I assume it uses new weapons? Therefore I assume I need to install them? The readme doesn't hint much at how to do that.

well i didn't upload this because i just added it to the queue so it can be uploaded, as for weapons, thay are stock weapons from Trek Battles 2, and UUMod. so pretty much you'd have to find the sprites to use in New Races Mod.

Because since i didn't have permission from either CJG or NGM to include their sprites as well into this mod, therfore, i can pretty much say the user himself has to pick whatever version he feels comfortable with and use those sprites into the NRM.

as for the reason it's making the station into a battleship...i didn't feel it was necessary

Ok, well I was just pointing it out from the lines in the readme:

You could have used custom weapons without using their sprites.. You can add lines to sprites, can you not?

For V2, make your own and then problems solved. Make sparkly weapons
