Description:

In the year 2063, they struck. Here is the expanded Chig race collection from Space: Above and Beyond, including the vessels in the 1.0 release, and adding the U378 destroyer, the Chiggy Von Richtoven super fighter, and a Chig Transport ship/freighter. All (except the freighter) are released for ENT, TOS and TNG. There are plenty of ships here that if you are into new race mods, you have a comlpete race.

This mod includes 9 angular ships, and the Chig missile and pulse weapon.

	Readme File: Requirements and Installation: This mode is designed to function with stock (with a new race mod including a miscellaneous race "misc"), or any compilation including a miscellaneous race. Run the executable file, pick your Star Trek Legacy folder and follow the directions from there. Distribution: Feel free to modify this mod to your liking. If you wish to release this mod, you are hereby granted permission provided you cite proper credits. Enjoy. Legal and Credits: All models and textures are made personally from scratch. Except for the Pulse weapon texture, provided generously by AnunC8 in the Mr weapons sprite pack. This mod is in no way intended to be sold, nor to infringe on Mad-doc software, Star Trek, and Space: Above and Beyond. I am not responsible for any damage this mod may cause your installation, nor any acts of terrorism involving Chig ships by any downloadee. New Race modding: If you would like to create a Chig race, and have not added a total compilation or new race mod, I would suggest looking at Cungi's New race mod to get started. Adding races to Legacy is very easy so long as you change all the needed files. If in doubt, immitate. Files you will need to adjust: Dynamic_Localized_Strings.xml races.odf chig.odf (duplicate romulan.odf or borg.odf and rename where needed) multiplayer.xml I believe that covers everything. If you have any questions feel free to contact me. I have over 20 races and counting, and Legacy can handle alot.

Your ships are quite nice and remind me of my high schools years when this show was out. The problem is that I had to manually install your ships into UUM 2.0. How would you install the sprites so I can see the weapons fire and all?

My bad....your installer was awesome. I thought it would not work, but props to ya for putting one together that actually doesn't crash the program!!! GREAT WORK!!!
