Description:
Mudlrf brings us the CJG Star Trek XI addon Pack, featuring 14 ships and one station from the XI era, it is a great addon for legacy. The ships vary from the XI connie, the Narada, and even the Shuttle craft seen taking Kirk and McCoy to the fleet space dock.

The modelling is exemplary, with great textures to compliment them, as well as these muldrf and the others have taken the time to include sprites and sounds to fit nearly every ship. (So I expect to see many potd submissions in the near future of film re-enactments).

The balancing of the vessels in this pack is good, so you can expect adequete battles with a foe of equal size.
This pack also comes in the form of a Stock and UU version. Which means it can be installed on your version of UU legacy, or just about any other install you have on your pc.

This mod installs using the LM tools and gives you the option of installing it in whatever race category you like, and does it very quickly as well.

A great addition from muldrf and the gang, I hope to see more.

This is the Ultimate Universe 2.0 Compatible Edition of the CJG XI Addon. The pack includes 15 models. There are 14 flyable craft and 1 starbase. The ChrisJones Gaming ST XI Addon 1.0

The CJG XI Addon is released in 2 variants. The one version is setup for use for Stock Legacy and should work with pretty much any version of Legacy. The other version is setup for use with the Ultimate Universe Mod 2.0 and includes use of the enhanced special effects available in it.

This is the Ultimate Universe 2.0 Compatible Edition!

Models by Baz1701 originally seen in BC included as part of the XI Addon Pack:

Features:

All models have ship icons as well as spec, bump, and glow textures, except the Starbase has no glow textures.

All models have light sprites, except the Narada. They feature custom blinker patterns, and the Shuttle has custom "mini" lights to better fit it's "small" size.

All models have destruction chunks, except the shuttle.

All models have Subsystem Target and Destruction Hardpoints Points for use with the Subsystem Targeting feature and subsystem destruction damage effects.

All Models have Low poly damage meshes on the models to help limit system impact from to the high poly ship models, except the Narada which isn't overly high poly count.

The Federation ships, including the shuttle, each have 4 unique registries.

The XI Connie based ships and the Shuttle feature animated bussard textures. The XI Connie based ships also have "nearly" transparent domes over the bussards.

The Narada features animated textures on it's "engine area".

The Starbase is a working docking station for Repairs, when it's Friendly. If it's an Enemy Station, don't get too close ;)

All ships, except the Narada, have Breaknodes for Nacelles and have plasma emitters, which is a plasma leak effect at the pylon. The Starbase has a breaknode that activates on destruction that cause it to breakup on destruction.

I took care to minimize "Lights" showing through the hull of the models, it's not perfect on all ships, but you should see the lights through the hull very little. I also took care to minimize the "Photon Circling" problem that can often happen with ships in Legacy. It's not perfect, but it's a good improvement compared to not minimizing it.

I have also included a deathmatch map titled XI Starbase 102. This map is based on the stock prettymovementmap with some overall minor changes. It's been maded into a Deathmatch map and the XI Starbase is located by the Player 1 spawn point. It should show up as the last map in the Deathmatch maps list, press the "<" arrow to jump to it quickly on the map selection.

Installation:
The mod is packed with an updated version of my ModInstaller utility. It's a self extracting installer. The only requirement is you must have Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 installed (standard on Vista and Windows 7).

Just run the downloaded .exe file and point it to your Star Trek Legacy folder. You can pick to install the ships to the "Regular" Races or to the "Multi Era" race, or pick a different race for each ship.

I really like the models. I like what was done with the engines (bussard collectors). Digging the new Romulan and Klingon ships too. Excellent add-on. Fine work from CJG as usual. Rock

I would appreciate comments be relevant to the mod in question.

Baz's Models are used for this pack, because Baz's models were the choice for the pack, it's that simple. I take it you think they are inferior, that's your opinion and your free to it. Now back on topic please people.

No really, I didn't knew WC would only grant me permission, if I did I might have done his ships already, but now that you have done baz's there's no need for me to do wiley's. That was my point. I completely forgot about those ships sitting on my HDD somewhere.

Someone found a problem with the Miranda warp drive. I'll get that fixed in a patch down the line. I'll give it a little while to see if any other problems show up.

It requires .Net Framework 2.x. each version is different, meaning if you try to run a 2.x app you must have 2.x, even if you have 3 or later.

i have MS net frame work 1, 2.2, and 3. it does not install. Do I need vista or 7 os? I and using XP pro edition.

All the xi ships are there when i load the game except connie! all i have installed is UU. whats up?

@15. Are you getting an error message, does the installer open at all and give you the readme even? If so then it's not the .net framework. The installer should work fine on XP Home and XP Pro with .Net Framework 2.0, it was tested on XP Pro with Service Pack 3 prior to release.

@16. It is doubtful the XI Connie would be missing from your lineup if the other ships are all inplace properly. I do not believe in UU2.0 that the XI Connie is beside the "Real Connie" in the fleet selection. Short of me firing it up (which I can't do at the moment), I can only say it should be after the XI Miranda and before the XI Constellation in the lineup. Sometimes when flipping through ships it might skip over a couple and you might have to go back.

Just to note, UU Edition of the XI Pack, is for UU 2.0 and not the older UU1.0 available at this site. I would expect it to crash on UU1.0, but maybe it would behave as your mentioning.

note: double posting makes more work for us, it would be best to only comment on this or on the patch, and not both with the same comment.

I'm having a similar issue to #15. However in my case my 7 won't let it up, and when I extract the files from "themod" zip file, it just causes U.U. mod to crash at start up.

Maybe someone could just upload the files as they appear in an installed version, maybe?
