Bonaventure Class (mesh only) - File Description  


Description:
This is the mesh of the Bonaventure class as seen in the Ships of The Line book and calendar.

Starship Background:

    The Bonaventue was built sometime between the ENT and TOS eras. That said, this ship could be used in either era. My thought would for a texture that would be between the two. I am submitting this ship for free use. All I would seek is credit for the model.

This mesh is interesting. I've always been a fan of the ships of the line and its great to see another version of the >a href="http://www.shipschematics.net/startrek/images/federation/cruiser_bonaventure.jpg">Bonaventure in legacy somewhat but the model needs to have alot of work done on it, the general layout of the ship is good but the smoothing and poly count is not even close to Legacy standards. However it is what it is, so try map this ship if you can, and perhaps even release it.

Readme File:
This is the mesh of the Bonaventure class as seen in the Ships of The Line book and calendar.
I do not have the tools for modding for legacy at this point but would love to see this in game.
Here is a little background on the ship.

The Bonaventue was built sometime between the ENT and TOS eras. That said, this ship could be used
in either era. My thought would for a texture that would be between the two. I am submitting this ship for
free use. All I would seek is credit for the model.

Posts: 52 		I am not normally a modeler for Legacy so I don't know what the standards are. I originally did this model for Armada 2 but the count was too high. I thought if I put it here, someone would be willing to make it right and release it as a playable ship.

Posts: 269 		Smoothing can be a very enjoyable art once you get the gist for it. Play around with the smoothing groups area on the groups tab. Remember that smoothing groups must be in separate nominal groups for the smoothing effect to show up ingame. She will look 400% better.

Posts: 52 		I had written in the read me that this file was in no way supported be Activision. Seeing as how the game was made by Bethesda, I guess that would be true. Just so I am covered, this file is in no way supported by Bethesda either. Sorry everyone.
