Here we have the gallant Artemis Class brought to Legacy by porting prodigy; Deja Vu.

Deja Vu has specialized in bringing new ships freshly into Legacy. This choice of ship is a good one, and has been ported sufficiently well.

The original model is somewhat displeasing, with a number of smoothing errors and generally having a low poly count. Also questionable are the textures, which don't look uniform with existing legacy ships, and lack detail. That said, it bears no relevence to the port itself.

The port contains everything I'd expect to see. Icons, correct textures and so on. However, the Icon is a pure white image, and there are no logo files meaning there is only one ship; USS Artemis. The alpha's are black as they should be, but the ship glows mysteriously in the dark, meaning it could be that the Ambient setting is not 100% black.

In game the ship proved to be remarkably strong, proving a difficult ship to penetrate, and one that could tear apart any small ship within 30 seconds. Clearly a developed future ship.

Enjoy this feat, its a good port, but a 2.0 would see maybe the creases ironed out?

Originating from the Selfridge project, the Artemis class are intended to be deep space exploration frigates, however it is equipped to deal with any threats which may arise. The phaser arrays fitted onto the Artemis have been considerably upgraded since the first Selfridge, derived from the Enterprise Initiative they are a downgraded version from those onboard the Selfridge A. The Artemis also features an enhanced hull plating which was first used with the Selfridge A to counter the stresses of Slipstream drive, this makes the ship more stable and less likely to come under heavy stress during warp or slipstream.

	Readme File: ----------- Installation ----------- - All folders can be found in your local Legacy game main directory(C:/Program Files/Bethesda Softworks/Star Trek Legacy). - Just copy and paste all files in the folders into their corresponding folders in your Legacy main directory. - For the ship's ODF file, I've included one for Ultimate Universe 1.0 and one for the Trek Battles mods which you can also use for stock Legacy installments. * I must emphasize that balancing for this ship(shields, hull, weapons, etc.)will vary from one install to the other so please adjust accordingly. ----------- Credits ----------- Original Model and Textures: Mesh design by Nebula with modifications by Cube and texture mapping by USS Phoenix. Ship crashed the game. Maybe a file or 2 is misnamed?

yea i got the same issue. soon as i click on the ship the game crashes.

Sorry about that guys, please download this ODF file(F_Artemis) and replace the one in your install with it.

I couldn't get that ODF to run on my UUM so, with further tweeking, I think this is a more preferable fix to download(ODF fix)it contains updated ODF file for trek battles or stock and one for UUM(1.0).

Please don't forget to delete your db and dbx pak files before you use either of these files.

Yeah that'be awesome! I wondered about bringing the Icorus shuttle to Legacy stick out tongue

but Nebula I can't seem to find(or I'm just looking in the wrong places)any more of your other work, can you please provide a more complete selection?

The "Icorus" and "Selfridge A" have been already converted to Legacy

most of my stuff can be found under CA or Nebula
