Ambassador Refit - File Description  


Description:
The author's first modification here on Legacy files is a rework of the original (stock) Ambassador class. The download is named 'Refit' but having tried it, it looks more like the ship has been captured by some kind of Marauders or pirates? It's a good starting point as some foundation skills have been shown; the modification of the ODF file to increase the vessel's speed and resilience and the modification of textures.

I've seen a lot worse from first-attempt modders and the author is looking forward to receiving some feedback. Welcome to Legacyfiles, bulletproof190.

This is a basic rework of the Ambassador class starship. This is one of my favorite ships in the trek universe.
I tweaked the odf alittle to make her faster and a little more powerful, however she is by no means a god ship.
i may make further changes to her but who knows. i would appreciate any feedback anyone can give me. this is my first mod and my first release.
i am not finished with her but i want a larger audience to look at her and give me feedback. hope you enjoy

Installation:

ship odf goes in star trek: legacy/odf/ships

m3d goes in star trek legacy/m3d

dds goes in star trek legacy/textures/dds

this does not replace the stock Ambassador and will show up in game as Ambassador refit.

Permission:
anyone can use this ship in their mod if they want just let me know. any problems my email is above

Posts: 311 		Actually, the second picture looks really nice. The sacer is nice work, the engines look off but thats just because of the colour choice. It conflicts with the rest of the ship. Maybe in future versions try to carry the theme you have going for the saucer and apply it to the rest of the ship and make the hull a darker grey instead of the blue that it is.

Also when you put up shots, try and get shots taken from the maps that best show off your ship as the second picture shot looks far better than the first. Map choice can either make or break your texture work.

change the red to a darker style blue, for more of a fed look
