I'm not a big fan of either BSG or Stargate but let me tell you this... These vessels are Hot. This will install the Alliance Beta to Legacy! It will add two races, using Cungi's New Race Mod, the EarthAlliance and the DarkAccord from both Stargate and BattleStarGalactica. There are 20 new vessels in this mod (which is why I've denoted it as a Compilation Mod). They are as follows

It is compatible with CM 0.4 and TEM 1.0. It will however overwrite the Cardassians and Xindi should you use them (from Cungi's NRM) in Legacy. Thing to notice about this is it is a beta so feedback is required.. I have started forum thread about this...Try to keep feedback about the actual mod (what you like/dislike) here on this section, problems and issues on the forum thread... smile

This will install the Alliance Beta to ST: Legacy! It will add 2 races: the EarthAlliance and the DarkAccord
(Stargate/BSG)

Installation:

This time it have an exe data so you havent much to do!^^

Important!!!: This mod is compatibel with CM0.4,TEM 1.0 and the new race mod(by cungi) but it will overwrite
the xindi and the cardassian race also if you have an other mod install make sure that the new(nonstock) weapons
(if have any) must be added to the Spite/weapon by yourself!!!
I really dont know if this is compatibel with the UU mod.(If you try out make sure that you backup your files!!!)
AND GUYs it is a Beta so its not really perfect remember please!!!

Delete or rename the file db.pak in your Legacy directory!

love the mod! my only comment is the Ori ships range is too far, can't get close with X304's to fire a single shot before getting blown to bits, otherwise love it, big stargate and battlestar fan!

Never mind it. it seems NONE of the ships work with the ultimate universe mod, even though all of the other files work.

RockRock thanks so much, been waiting for this for a while. iv seen some people on the POTD with aurora class vessels in them and thought, Beer! Beer! share the love!! shame the UU mod doesnt go with it but i think its worth the re-install to be honest

This is something that's really bugging me. How come when I go against someone with any of the new ships, they all can get destroyed by a Nova-class starship?! I've played with all the ships, seeing if its just that, but it seems every ship that was added on by the mod can be blown up with just one phaser blast! A Basestar should not be able to be obliterated by an Intrepid-class. It should be reverse. Is it just me and my file's corrupted, or is it faulty from the beginning?

What are you talking about? The new ships are more powerful. I can destroy a fleet of federation ships in 3 mins with the new ones.

I dont know what happened to my version, but I suppose I'll try a clean install of the mod. Hopefully I'll rack up some huge kills instead of burning in the depths of space.

If you have the leggacy generations mod that is the problem, legacly generations, makes all tos, and tng ships superpowered compared to regular legacy.

i like this mod i downloaded it and it SUPA only 2 little BUT's:
maybe someone could do a retexture of the hiveship?
the hatak refit, (the hatak with all the spikes, smaller then anubis ship) should be called: apophis mothership,

ok, problem, i know about the forum issues, but i havent signed up and my university firewalls are having issues with the website, so forgive me for posting here. no luck with installing the mod. tried numerous times, with and without patches, tem mods and community mods. any suggestions?

i think bob127 has found the issue, its with one of the ships, but is probably in the coding with all of them instead of just one. becuase iv tried copying over the odf's and md3s to other versions of legacy (i must have about 8 on the hard drive now) and every time i get an access viloation. so im hoping that one of u lot may have the answer or the awesomeness of RazielXVX's next version will prevail.

I've hit another snag. After I uninstalled the Legendary Generations mod, I tried to play one of the new races again, but when I did, it didnt show the race as a selection. I thought it was a small showing glitch, so I let it pass, but I then saw that the race already picked out (Federation) was showing its ships instead of the Dark Accord! What am I doing wrong once again??

edit the ODF file.. Right click on the odf file and select open with 'Notepad'.. then change the values of the Ori Warship.

is how long it took me to get it working haveing too uninstall and install legacy a few times but it was worth it a very good mod lookin farward for the next verson now i know what to do. the verson of legacy with this in it has only got this mod and the other mod it need and now maybe i shound go for a 5 install and see if i can get the xindi working

2. Star Trek Legacy: Empire 'Generations' with u.u.m and more ships mods

It's Official the ORI warship is to powerful. One of them, ripped through 4 battlestars without breaking a sweat, without any of those ship damage boosting mods.

hey, sorry for not posting sooner, been busy with uni and trying to find work....

so, how i got it to work....

i made sure i first made a clean copy of legacy on the hard drive (for those in doubt yes you can have more than one copy, which means you can have multiple mods that arent compatible with each other.)

secondly i deleted the db.pak file BEFORE installing the alliance beta mod. this took several attempts to figure out but in the end it worked.

guys please bear in mind that this is only a beta so i hope im right in thinking that this is only a prelude to a much better version. Rock

i apologise to the staff for posting this here, but i couldnt find the alliance beta forum today. + this helps all those too lazy to use it. last time i promise.

To be honest Alliance is pretty buggy.. Because RazielXVX has no plans to expand on it I don't think there is much support for troubleshooting it.. The main problems I have with Alliance is the races...I suggest having a look at the races' odfs if you are getting any bugs

Take out the files relevant to each ship.. the m3d file, the odf, the textures that correspond to each ship and they should work. Pay particular attention to the ODF to see if there is anything referenced in it that is not there like a new weapon

Has potential but lackes in the "working properly department". I only found Ajilon, 2 teams, 1 ship, TNG era working. 3/10 could be very better. On gameplay the Ori ship really does need to be brought down as the 304 can't take 1 hit while in the series it took 2 to bring the shields down. The BSG ships were very good especially the colonials but the Cylons had shields and Photon Torpedos and a cloaking device?????

Anyone know why this mod won't work... i have Comunity Mod v0.4 and have tried to load the Alliance mod but I haven't gotten it to work any clue on what i might be doing wrong?

I've been able to get some of the ships from this working in my UU mod, the asgard ships and both ancient ships. I've asked permission from new gen to sumbit them individually but haven't heard anything yet. I do like the ships from alliance. Rock

I got it working on stock legacy but every other skirmish the game has an access violation. I don't know how to correct it

It looks awsome, just one major problem, doesnt work on stock game. Access violation or whatever.

It's working, in fact, it's ONLY working on stock game, since it's modifying key files of Legacy.
You should install it on a clear copy of STL. No patch 1.1/1.2 either.

This mod dosn't replace ships dose it? confused because that's what it looked like in a youtube clip I just watched.

Qusetion. Why is there a large solid sphere on the ori ship? in the show you could see through it except for a small spot at the center. confused confused confused

This is a great mod. that said, no darts, 302's, gliders, wraith cruisers or scouts and no missiles for the 303 & 304's (which is supposed to be their primary weapons with rail guns as a close-range seconary)

Just saying, an expansion on this mod (mainly with the fighters) would improve it immeasurably wink

the ships are really well made. I think the Ancient and Wraith cruisers would be a great addition. The hive ship is good but I think it should be a little bit flatter and wider.

hi i just downloaded the mod and i got it to work till i engage the enemy then it crashes and i cant get it t work what do i do? well i renamed the db.pak file and it started to work then it crashes what do i do?
