Description:
This little addon will add shields to all Ent-era Starfleet ships. The Mod will render Multiplayer unplayable so be wise to create a backup of the original odf file.

Thanks for downloading my mod.


This will add shields to all Federation ENT-era ships. (including the Daedalus-class)
I thought it was odd that Starfleet vessels were not equipped with shield-generators after the foundation of the Federation, so I changed that.
Have fun.

To install, simply unrar the odf folder into your Legacy directory.

This mod will make the game unplayable via internet, so make sure you back up your old files, in case you want your original Legacy back.

Star Trek and all related materials are the property of Paramount.

Posts: 504 		Why unplayable? When the other Player has the same mods, perhabs it could work.
And if you think, that's uncanon: The NX-01 in the Episode Twillight has got Andorian shields, hasn't it? 10/10

Posts: 4 		I thought it was very odd that they didnt put any shields on any of the ships, If you watched the Series when it was on, you could clearly see that the Enteprise and Columbia had shields on their ships.

Posts: 1 		no there were no sheilds on the the enterprise or columbia they had polarized hull plating which was just an electric current that took most of the hull damage!

No where near the exisiting power of a vulcan ships "SHEILDS" (a positronic barrier that surronds a ship unlike hull plating which radiates off of the hull itself).

Posts: 2 		Yeah, as mic30947 said, the Earth ships of the day had hull plating, and no shields. Which makes some sense, because the Vulcans didn't share all the tech that they had with humans (as depicted when the NX 01 discovered torpedoes) Even though the Enterprise did get shields eventually, mainly throughout the series, they had no shields. That they likely got themselves eventually.
